We remain open from 8 am to 6 pm everyday, however we have measures in place for social distancing and sanitizing for everyone's safety. Please book an appointment in advance.
On arrival please ring our doorbell or call 04 3218556 to let us know you are here. You may be asked to wait in your car until we have space inside. Only one person is allowed to accompany pets inside the building. Masks and gloves must be worn and we will record your temperature and contact details. We will take you and your pet inside and you will be seated in the waiting room while your pet is examined in the consultation room. We will discuss everything with you
We still provide 24 hour veterinary care outside normal business hours. Please call 04 321 8556 and you will be directed to the service.

All cats and dogs require microchipping as part of the Municipality registration process. It is also a requirement if you intend to ship your pet, and of course if your pet wanders off it is a great help to reunite you both.

Dr Sofia Moniz BVSc MRCVS

Dr Sofia graduated from UTAD, Vila Real, in Portugal in 2003. I worked in Portugal for several years she moved to UK in 2008, working for Companion Care, one of the biggest Veterinary groups in the UK. She and her husband moved to Dubai in 2012! which led to her joining BRITISH veterinary Hospital where she was welcomed and supported during her second pregnancy. Her main interests are internal medicine and imaging.
